The Girls Clinic will be practicing 1 day a week and will be adding some fun games/scrimmages later in the season. During practices, we will focus on the basics of lacrosse, which include cradling, throwing, catching, and scooping up the ball. We will learn field positions and simple rules of the game. The clinic will be an introduction to the sport of girls lacrosse and a fun environment geared toward 1st and 2nd graders in which they can gain more confidence with their new skills. All clinic players are required to have a mouth guard, goggles, and water bottle at every practice, along with their sticks.
The DYL website and our clinic link will be the primary means of communication so please check often. If there are ever any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to email or call me.
