This page is dedicated to my friends!  In case you  are curious, this is a daunting task writing a paragraph for all my friends, and  I sometimes have trouble with originality.  Also, just to point out, these people are the most prominent people in my life.  As time permits, I will add to it, but if I haven't added you, drop me a  line , and I'll put you up.  I've tried to sort these names by the order that I've met them.  And yes, I do really have close friends in other countries, (ie. la France et l'Italia) and that is the reason I wrote to them in their languages.

Nubia - Hola mi estrellita!  Siempre recordaré mi viaje a Nicaragua.  Aprendí muchísimas cosas y estoy súper fortunado que pude conocerte!  Sos una buenísima amiga, y siempre querré escribir y hablar con vos!  Me ayudás con mis problemas, me tratás muy simpáticamente, y me enseñás lo que necesito saber para mejorar mi español!  Sos graciosa y es chévere que sos también coqueta!  Así que siempre me divierto hablando con vos!  Un día sabés que quiero volver verte y hasta que llegue ese día, espero que nuestra amistad siga creciendo!  Sigue brillando!!!

Юля - Прив⨙т!  Я нет гаварю и панимаю по-русскй а, я ю ю ю ю ю .  Юлю, even though we've never met in person, you are definitely a very good friend, and I treasure our friendship a great deal!  After only a few letters, I already could know that you're a very kind, interesting and trustworthy person.  It is not everyday that I put my trust in someone and tell my darkest secrets to a Russian who lives on the other side of the world!  You can understand my problems though, and you are a great advice giver.  I hope that someday I will be able to come visit you in Санкт Петербург!

Ελένη Πλάτακος - Δεν μπόρω να γράφω καλά στα ελληνικά, αλλά θέλω να λέγω ότι....I am very happy that we got a chance to start writing to each other and that I've really appreciated the help you've given me with my Greek.  Your language is so fascinating, and I honestly do want to learn it very badly...  it's all a question of time.  My life has been crazy this year!  After Italy, Greece is the number one place that I want to visit, so perhaps one day we could meet each other and you could show me what's cool to do in Aθήνα!

Nicholette - Salut!  Je vais enfin t'écrire un petit mot, d'accord?  Pour moi, c'est vraiment intéressant la façon dont nous nous sommes racontrés.  Ce n'est pas souvent que je trouve une fille qui veut me connaître, mais de toute façon, je suis heureux que nous soyons devenus amis.  Tu es bien différente des autres filles de ton âge mais je dis que c'est une bonne chose.  Tu t'intéresses plutôt à la vie et non à soi!  J'aime bien discuter avec toi même si tu me réponds toujours par un 'tais-toi!'  (Puisque tu sais que j'ai raison!)  Bien, bon courage et à bientôt!

Garland - It's pretty neat that we've been able to become good friends in such a short time.  Although you're going off to college 1.000 miles away, I know that somehow we'll keep our friendship going, and we'll stay in contact with each other.  You are one of the most fun and lively girls that I've ever known, and I love being around you because you give off such a happy ambiance!  You are always smiling and laughing, and that is one of your best features!  I also feel privileged that you've shared so much of your life with me.  I will always be here for you to listen, to comfort you, or to even give you advice.  Promised!  After Lorraine, I'd say you're the world's second best hugger ; )  What, Garland and Lorraine are the coolest girls in the school, what!  Hott!  = )

Lorraine - It's such a pity that for as long as we've known each other, it wasn't until this year that we started to develop our friendship.  Despite that, we've already had lots of fun times together - in chorus, after school, and special times together: sitting on your porch talking, at the dances - I will never forget "Hero", and at the pool.  You have very quickly become a very special person to me, and I really appreciate our friendship.  You are such a nice person, and you have accepted me as I am.  In life it's hard to find decent people to associate with, and I'm so glad to have you.  You're so much fun to hang out with, and I'm going to miss you.  You are the best hugger in the world!

Stephania - Salve!  Ti voglio dire che apprezzo molto la nostra amicizia.  Tutto quello che mi hai detto come consigli mi ha aiutato molto coi miei problemi.  Soprattutto con le ragazze.  Devo capire che è meglio mettere la mia vita nelle mane del Signore.  Ma sai che è più facile detto che fatto!  haha  Perché preoccuparsi con le ragazze quando si può divertirsi con la vita!  Allora, penso che sei una persona molto simpatica, e sempre mi piace parlare con te.  Mi piacerebbe conoscerti meglio e forse un giorno potremo incontrarci di persona?!  = )

Kassia - It is interesting to think that out of one of the worst days of my life came one of my coolest and most valued friends.  The day we met, I was too depressed to actually make any effort towards you besides asking for your name, but I'm glad that you did!  The distance that separates us really sucks, but this only inhibits us from having a relationship, not a friendship, and every time I get a letter from you or get to talk to, it always brightens up my day!  You are a wonderful person to have as a friend, and what happened at MUN was very special for me.  That's why I wish we lived in the same town.  You make me feel like I belong, and that is one of the best feelings in the world.  Even though we've only known each other a relatively short time, I feel that I could talk to you about anything or confide any secret to you, and I hope that we'll continue to get to know each other in the future!  = )

Chiara Paoli - Buongiorno mia amica italiana!  No so esattamente ciò che posso dirti qui, quindi ti dirò quello che penso!  Prima di continuare, vorrei che tu sappia che senza te mai non avrei saputo a parlare italiano!  È bene la verità e lo sai.  Ti ringrazio molto per questo perché mi piace moltissimo la tua lingua!  Sei la prima ragazza con chi ho parlato italiano e la prima con chi ho praticato.  Mi aiuti sempre e mi fa sempre piacere ricevere e leggere la tua posta.  Sei una persona speciale, interessante e molto gentile!  Spero che continuiamo a scriverci e che posso incontrarti un giorno quando io vado a Europa!  Bacioni ed un grande abbraccio!

Kelly Martinez - ¡Por fin te escribo todo en español!  Puedo decir muchas cosas sobre ti, y todas son buenas!  Cuando estabas aquí, tenía alguien con quien hablar, reír, y confiar todos mis secretos.  El día que te fuiste, estaba muy triste.  Podemos hablar a veces y entiendo bien que no puedes hablar más gracias a la universidad.  No necesito más, una carta de ti dos o tres veces cada año me basta porque sé que nuestra amistad es muy fuerte y que nada puede separarnos jamás.  Sin ti, ya lo sabes, no podría hablar tu idioma, y tengo que decirte 'gracias' porque me encanta demasiado español!  Piensa...  sin ti, nunca lo habría aprendido!  Te extraño muchísimo y te quiero muchísimo!  Hasta pronto mi amiga!

Sacha - Je te remercie du fond de mon cœur de l'été dernier.  Saches que le temps que j'ai passé chez toi était les plus formidables vacances de ma vie!  Chaque moment que nous étions ensemble a été un grande plaisir, et j'apprécie beaucoup tout ce que tu as fait pour moi.  Tu as si bien su me conduire aux musées, aux châteaux, et aux monuments!  Aussi, ça m'a bien plu lorsque tu m'as parlé de la vie.  Toutes les geurres et les polotiques me sont un peu étranges!  Toutes les bonnes chances dans ton avenir et j'espère un jour pouvoir parler français aussi bien que tu parles anglais!  lol  Rends-moi une visite aussitôt que tu peux!

Pauline Souvignier - J'ai enfin pu voir le très beauu pays que tu appelles chez toi.  J'ai été super content de te revoir le quatorze, et je n'oublierai jamais ce qui s'est passé.  Quel jour!  D'abord, la pluie...  (on était tous mouillés!) ...puis toutes les conversations, et on a fini le jour avec les beaux feux d'artifice!  J'espère que notre amitié continue à grandir, et je veux tant te revoir un jour.  Tu es très gentille et intelligente, et je te souhaite beaucoup de chance avec tout ce que tu feras dans ton avenir!  Je t'embrasse!

Cyril - Bonjour mon ami!  Pendant les trois semaines quand je te visitais en France, tu était mon meilleur ami.  Tu sais, j'ai toujours voulu un frère, mais j'n'en ai pas!  Pour moi, tu es presqu'un!  Il ne m'a jamais fallu partager une chambre, ou c'est mieux à dire, une vie, jusqu'à toi!  Et...  je dis que j'ai beaucoup aimé la compagnie.  On peut facilement se faire éclater de rire, non?!  lol  L'été prochaine, (où tu me visiteras encore) on va 'magasiner', faire pisser dans les coins sombre, et se raconter des histoires drôles!  En février, on chantait, « On est tous des Maurice Richard. »  En juillet on chantait, « Alléluia mes frères » et, « Puisqu'on est jeune et con! »  Je vais garder mes souvenirs de toi, ta famille et de tout dans mon cœur pendant le reste de ma vie!  Tu auras toujours un ami aux É.U.!

Erin Soulsby - It has now been over two since we've met.  Who ever would have thought that I'd meet one of my best friends in St. Louis at a church retreat?  If I could go back in time, I would have made so much more of those four days.  Since that time, our friendship has completely exploded.  Through just letters, the internet, and the telephone, I very honestly feel like I know you as well as any of my other friends here in Coudersport.  I mean that.  You are absolutely a wonderful person, and you make me feel so good about myself.  I don't understand how this long distance relationship works, but I would be devastated to lose you.  I know so much about you, and you know so much about me...  it's almost like magic.  I am awaiting with impatience the next time I'll get to see you, and you've got a huge hug waiting for you!

Megan Dow - We have a very interesting relationship, you know?  We hardly ever talk in person, we never hang out after school, but despite that I feel really close to you.  I don't know if the feeling is mutual, but I can honestly say that you are one of the people that I trust the most in this world.  I feel as if I could tell you any problem, any secret in the world through the emails that we exchange.  We've known each other for a long time, yet things have always been pretty low-key between us.  You are a really smart, talented, and interesting person though.  I admire the way you think, and your independance.  You've given me some important and good advice, which I definately appreciate.  I hope that in this last year at CHS, we'll be able to take our friendship to the next level.

Chantal Gagné - Qu'est-ce que je peux dire?  Deppuis on se recontre, j'ai appris beaucoup de toi.  Tu es très très gentille, sympa et aimable!  Je souhaite seulement te parler un peu plus souvent!  Tu n'es jamais là!  Mais, je suis heureux que je peux te dire mes secrets et mes problèmes quand j'ai vraiment besoin de quelqu'un avec qui parler et tu es devenue une amie formidable.  Grâce à toi, je me suis bien amélioré en français.  Merci de ça, et merci de tout!  J'attendrai la prochaine fois, et toutes les bonnes chances avec les gars, les maths et le bad-miton!  xxx  @+

Laura Burlingame - It's that time.  You're going away, and realistically, I'll probably never see you again.  Over the past two years that I've priveledged enough to know you, we've become better and better friends, and you are a remarquable friend.  I can have talks with you that I would never be able to have with anyone else.  You are without any question in my mind, the smartest person I've met thus far.  I enjoy so much talking to you.  You have made me feel very special, and made me see a lot of things.  I will never forgot you and I plan on staying in contact with you as well as I can while you are away.  I will never forget MUN where we met.  I shall always treasure all of our memories, especially those ones, and the debate ones! = )

Alex Fish - You're a really cool guy, Alex, with a lot of talent.  Especially musically!  I don't know anyone that can play a trumpet like you or that can sequence MIDIs!  Also, you're a great artist, and you've got a great sense of humor.  I think the word is charismatic.  I couldn't have a complete yearbook without your, "<*(((({" in the cover somewhere.  You're a good person, and I like your perspective on life.  Hope we become better friends.

Alex - It really does make me happy that despite an inactive summer, nothing has changed between us.  You are a good person, and I appreciate that you can value me for who I am, and be objective about me.  For this, I value you in return.  We share many things in common, and you're fun and cool to hang out with.  Thanks for being such a loyal friend.  I know that I've said that a lot, but it really is a good adjective for you.  Also Alex, I'm glad I can joke around with you, and it means a lot to me that you care enough about me to want to actually protect me.

Travis - You are one of my closest friends, and I'm glad that you are.  Not only do you have an interesting personality, but you're realistic.  Soccer has been a big force in us getting to know each other, and I will always admire your athletic skill.  I loved the team feeling this year, and it was great how supportive you were.  We also have a lot in common, and you've really pulled through when my other friends haven't been there.  I never forget stuff like that.  You are a good person though, and I appreciate your sensitivity, which only emerges itself when is necessary.

Jessamy - Hey new neighbor!  It is really going to be cool when we live next to each other, and then we'll be able to hang out more often!  I hardly see you as it is, and I don't want it to be that way at all.  You are different than all of my other friends in a special way.  I can't quite put my finger on it, but you have a completely different attitude, and I really like it.  It makes being with you special, and also a lot of fun.  We might have used to do a lot more, but my opinion of you has never changed, and you are a great person.

Jessica McManus - Je vais enfin t'écrire en français.  De cette façon, je pourrai te dire exactement ce que je pense.  Ben alors, notre amitié a drôlement commencé, non?  Je me souviens lorsque j'avais si peur (de toi car je t'aimais autant) que je ne puisse pas m'approcher de toi!  Les années ont passé, et nous voilà!  A présent, tu es une amie en qui je peux confier et avec qui je peux avoir les conversations très graves ou très amusantes!  Je suis heureux que tu sois comme ça.  Je me souviendrai toujours de toi Jess!  T'es unique!

Jon Neff - You're a great friend Jon.  Most noticeably about you I think is your advice.  You're so cautious about it.  It's helped me feel better many times, and when it hasn't, it's the harsh reality that I've needed.  I really like and respect what you think about things and how you handle things.  You have a lot of maturity, but at the same time, you can have a lot of fun.  It means a lot to me that you know how to make the fragile transition between when to tease me, and when I need stuff up for.  I've never had a friend before who wanted to beat up ppl that were mean to me.  Quelle bravoure!  I'll never forget all the good times in the past, and look forward to a lot in the future.

Jessica Leete - Where to start?  Without talking about the past, I just want to say that I'm glad we're talking, and it means a lot to me that you care about me.  For the things that happened, I would have figured that you would have just forgotten me. . . In any case, hopefully we will be able to talk together sometime in person whenever you come back to visit, as we have a lot of catching up to do.  If you ever need a friend, you know how to contact me.

Seth - It was really nice to get to see you this summer and spend two days with you!  Alaska is so far away!  It's nice though that some things never change.  You've always been a good friend, and I do miss having you around, but things always pick up right where they were whenever you come to visit!  Can't wait until the next time, no matter how far in the future that may be!

Beau - You've been such a great friend since fifth grade.  What is there to say?  Whenever I have needed something or had a problem, you've been there.  We've been through thick and thin together and I'm glad we have so much in common.  We could literally not be doing anything, and we would still crack each other up.  Thanks for being my best friend.

Josh Cruz - It's always fun to see you Josh.  You are one of my only old best friends that I still keep in touch with.  We share a lot in common and that allows us to have a lot of fun.  The next time I'm down, I definitely want to do that reenactment of Duel of the Fates!  I get to be Obi-Wan, right?  Haha  Keep your...  interesting sense of humor, it's good for a laugh - most of the time.  Dominus es o ego sum?
