- Lauren Kuhn has offered to be the Delta Zeta Alumnae contact person for UNO's 50th Anniversary Homecoming. She will be coordinating the tailgate set-up and will begin to forward emails to spread the word about the events of Saturday, November 15.
- Rosa will be in NO from Dec 27-Jan 2
- Annual Founders' Day Luncheon on Saturday, October 18, 2008
- Race for the Cure - Delta Zeta's Nikki's Krewe will be October 19, 2008. Remember our sisters Nikki and Tina McMahan.
- Jean Person was featured in the Fall 2008 issue of the UNO magazine. Besides the page featuring Jean Person, there is a picture of the Starlettes with Toni Dorn Waddell and Adrienne Chin DuMontier on page 32.
- As of September 29, 2008, Theta Kappa Chapter (UNO) got quota with 1 addition for formal recruitment. That gave the chapter 11 new members. One more bid was extended through COB, which put the chapter at 30 women (campus total). The chapter did a wonderful job for recruitment which was delayed and then lasted over 2 weeks. The chapter would like to thank all of you who supported them during recruitment!

Many members of the New Orleans Alumnae chapter were directly affected by hurricanes along the Gulf coast. The chapter appreciates all the thoughts and prayers of our sisters throughout the country and the support for our collegiate chapters.
