Freshers Week 2002......

It was the weekend of the 21st September 2002 when 11 guys and girls from across the UK, from the depths of the south, london village,somewhere in wales and the arse-end of nowhere (aka anywhere north of Watford) came together when they first walked through the doors bearing that famous sign 'we are not the housekeepers office' and entered Eastwood 31 for the first time... This is the account of the first week in this house, where we mainly, well we mainly went out and tried to get drunk, although I assure you we've seen far more drinking happen since then , particularly concerning the likes of erm most ppl I guess (not to mention me-hmm boy do I wish I could forget that night...!)

Kicking the week off was the 'Rag Pub Tour'.   Notice the intricate details put into all of our t-shirts, making our house truly one of the most creative that there is around!

Here we all are before we set off for the Beach Party, sporting the latest in beachwear fashions.   As you can see, vest tops and t-shirts are a must, and don't forget your sunblock boys!   To the top right of the photo is a person you may not recognise as one of the e31ers, mainly because he's Andy and he's from house 50.

By far the highlight of the week was the Toga Party, with randoms all over campus wearing nothing but the sheet off their bed.     And, we looked damn good don't you know - see right :P    Bonus marks have to be awarded for the creative use of foliage in the photo above, which just adds that little extra 'authenticity'.
