are several types of Metamorphism
1.
Burial
Metamorphism – low pressure, low temperature changes in the upper crust
2.
Regional
Morphism – as mountains form a magma core is forced into the center of the
mountain, where the temps are high along with pressure and causes new minerals
form

Contact
Metamorphism – magma intrudes on existing rock

– banded or layered rocks
