| Anyone who knows me would tell you that I am a 42 yr old life long student of life. That the top 3 passions for me are photography, writing and a true nut for Eagles. From the first moment of seeing these majestic birds of prey I was hooked, and 20 years later am just as intriqued by Eagles as I was back then, if not more so. I grew up in a small, rural part of Eastern Canada, and very proud of my heritage. In having researched my family tree, it is quite evident that my heirtage is quite varied. It is a rare occasion indeed to find myself in front of the camera as is the case in the picture above, as I would much prefer to be behind the camera. This picture was taken with the intention of giving it to my mother as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately by the time Christmas came my mother had had a 2nd stroke and she was unware of what was going on around her. The family was unable to share Christmas with her that year, 1999. Whether she actually saw this picture I do not know. You will have already seen some samples of my photography and poetry through this site. The purpose at first in creating this site was to be an outlet for me to work through some of my grief in the loss of my mother. However it has become more than a theraputic venue for me. It is my hope that not only will you have gotten a sense as to the woman I call my mother, but to remind you all who view this website that life indeed is too short and very precious. To convey that if there are people in your lives that mean a great deal to you tell them no matter how hard it is. Take the opportunity now to spend time with them, savor the moments for they will one day be treasured memories. |
