Fielding was an evolving art, but many of the plays still in vogue today were also used.
The Mountain Citys were, by any standard, a sloppy team in the field. The condition of their home field, Columbia Park, is not known at this time.
The Columbia Park still used in Altoona for the Industrial League may be the original site of the team. Both are or were on Fourth Avenue; although other documentation states the current use of the field's site is for gasoline tanks, there are none on Fourth Avenue.
