We had so many pictures of Paris I had to make two different pages.

Above is the Arc de Triomphe at night.

To the right is the Eiffel Tower at night.

One of my favorite pictures that I took is this one to the left.  It is of the Louvre at night.

The modern pyramid in the middle is the entrance to the museum and was designed in 1989 by I.M. Pei, a famous architect.  He also designed the building for the National Center of Atmospheric Research, a.k.a., NCAR, in Boulder, Colorado.

To the right is the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel.  This triumphal arch was built to celebrate Napoleon's victories in 1805.

Emily and I went for a ride on the newly-built giant ferris wheel that you can see in the distance.

Here are three famous pieces of artwork that you can find at the Louvre.  Starting from the left:  Mona Lisa by L. de Vinci, The Winged Victory of Samothrace, Venis de Milo.

Emily at Musee d'Orsay in front of Monet's Blue Waterlillies.  To the right is a photo of the real waterlillies that inspired Monet to paint his painting.  We took a trip to Giverny to visit Monet's home and gardens--that was Emily's favorite part of our trip.
