jeep Trailers
During the war US Army used 2 main types of cargotrailers for jeeps: the Bantam BT3 and the Willys MBT. Both were capable of floating and could carry payloads up to 1/4 ton. At the end of the war a number of other manufacturers joined in to boost up production (like the Gemco T1)..
This jeep is equipped with the Willys MBT trailer, Beltring 2000.
Willys MBT. There are only minor differences between the trailers of both companies. Click here for the differences.
There are a number of other WWII jeep trailers known, such as the British Airborne Trailer, and specialised trailers with weaponmounts, for cable-laying duties etc. These are generally rare, although you might have luck and find one for a decent price if you look well enough.
