Identification: Willys MB/ Ford GPW
This is the original jeep as used by the Allied armies during WW2, and all post-war jeeps were derived from this model. Key features:

- grill with 9 slots;
- headlights behind grill;
- 2 piece windshield;
- electrical system of 6 and sometimes 12 Volts;
- 4 cilinder "Go-Devil" engine;
- casting number engine head MB: 639660, GPW: 6050;
- casting number engine block MB: 638632, GPW: 6015;
- tankfillergap under drivers' seat;
- ax & shovel fitted at drivers side of body.
