This page covers the places visited by the characters during the Campaign along with extra information concerning the events surrounding their visit.

This is where the Campaign started. It is the Throalic Year 1520, the month of Doddul. The PCs where between Kratas and Throal, forced to stay at a trading post named Jacob’s Well because of a fierce blizzard.

Winter has finally come to Barsaive. Most see it as an omen heralding the return of the Scourge since it has not snowed since the opening of the Kaers. Others see it as a good sign as Barsaive’s seasons return to their Pre-Scourge state (the truth is yet to come).

Jacob's Well was a trading post is built on a low hill giving the guards on the palisades an excellent view of the area near the fort and wide killing ground should it be attacked. The sight of the little fort in the midst of a well tended meadow would be pleasant except for the large graveyard near its gates. The owner of the trading post, Jacob Nashkar, a crude orc if there ever was one was fond of saying "One silver piece spends like another, no matter whose pocket its from.” He was killed by the Horror, the one dubbed "Black Locust".

The trading post was surronded by a palisade and contained a main building two storeys high and a guard barracks. This was burned during the character's stay. A badly kept stable contained a crude forge and anvil, and a storage shed was filled with weapons of various types. The palisade walkway boasted a catapult that was slightly of aim. Wulf used this to aunch his dead companion in true Sky Raider death ritual. A four seat lavatory stood near the stables but thankfully no one was attacked by the Horror there. Finally a well was located in the middle of the trading post, hence the name Jacob's Well.
