JOB EXPERIENCE June, 2002- Present Yazoo Mississippi Delta Levee Board Clarksdale, MS GIS Technician At this job I was responsible for establishing a GIS that showed what the levee protected, making maps, updating the web page, archiving documents and creating presentations.

August, 2000- July, 2002 Mississippi Space Commerce Initiative/ NASA/ The University of Mississippi University, MS Research Fellow This fellowship was part of my thesis research. It focused on a validation and verification of Intermap's STAR-3i interferometric synthetic aperture radar digital elevation model of Long Beach, MS. It involved GPS, GIS, and remote sensing skills as well as extensive geostatistics. As part of this fellowship I was responsible for public relations and giving presentations.

May, 2001- August, 2001 The University of Mississippi University, MS Research Assistant I worked on a project with two professors in the geology department to organize the data collected by one of them in the 1950's. This data was from a project in Antarctica and had never been used. The goal of this project was to use the data in maps and journals to tie to a remote sensing image of the area and create a GIS that would have an extensive data base.

July, 2001- August, 2001 The University of Mississippi University, MS Teaching Assistant I was responsible for teaching the geology 102 labs. I gave the lectures, helped the students with assignments and graded the assignments.

August , 1999- April, 2000 The University of Mississippi University, MS Student Worker I worked in the Dean's office helping the senior secretary in various clerical and administrative tasks.

Summer of 1997, 1998, 1999 Office Depot Brentwood, TN Customer Service This job taught me valuable skills. I was responsible for cashier and customer service. I had rigorous customer service training. I also worked in the copy center and gained knowledge of using and troubleshooting office machines. I was helped maintain the databases for prices and even helped the store remodel.

September 1995- March 1996 Plainview Preschool Louisville, KY Assistant I was responsible for planning activities for the afternoon, feeding the children, cleaning the room and maintaining a safe environment.
