| As the half-time entertainment at all home football and basketball games, also performing at local events, such as festivals and parades, the Eastern Dance Team is proud to represent Eastern High School of Greene County in beautiful Southern Indiana. To be a part of the Eastern Dance Team takes a great amount of dedication and hard work. Each season ends with try-outs for the next. Then begins summer with many practices and new dances to learn, there are around 15 dances to learn for each season. As they perform at local events and half-times of home games this year, it will all be leading to their first competition. To join the Eastern Dancers, you must be a student of Eastern Schools in the next coming school year. At the time of auditions, 8th-11th grade students with a 'C' average or above may try-out. Making the squad commits you to all practices, performances, as well as all other events for one year. And for everyone this doesn't include, please join us at all home games and help support Eastern! If you are interested in having the Eastern Dance Team perform at an event, please contact us through the school. |
