Trees grow to enormous heights between our homes and along our streets.  Although we prize our trees, they can get become dangerous to our family's and property if they are not properly cared for.  With over 20 years of experience maintaining trees,  as well as working with power companies such as PSE&G and Con Edison, East Gate Tree Service (also doing business as Continental Chimney Co.) has developed a keen eye for spotting hazards and potential tree related problems.  We have the skill and expertise to trim or remove trees, fix a problem, or enhance a landscape.

TREE TRIMMING  East Gate Tree Service uses a natural trimming method. This type of pruning is best for long-term health of the tree and reduces the amount of wood to be removed in future trimmings.  Tree services are performed under the guidelines of experienced foresters, and arborists.

TREE AND STUMP REMOVAL  Removing trees safely, especially trees close to homes, requires a lot of skill, experience, and the proper equipment.  We have access to cranes, however when power lines or driveways are an issue we are able to do the same job by hand. East Gate Tree Service uses regularly inspected and maintained equipment, and, because we have been rigging for over twenty years, we are familiar with what is required to remove your tree safely.
    Additionally, we can remove stumps and restore the site by replanting a new tree or other vegetation. You can choose to keep the wood from felled trees for your fireplace or have us remove it from the property.

STORM CLEANUP AND LAND CLEARING  Storms can create hazardous situations that need attention immediately. A wide-ranging storm can create that need for many people at the same time. East Gate Tree Service, is able to provide fast response to its customers in emergencies.  We are also available to do land clearing as we run a small logging co as well.

COVERAGE  Because of the nature of our work, we maintain full insurance coverage with workers compensation, so liabilities for damage and injury will not be an issue.  Due to our involvement with heavy industry (industrial smoke stacks and towers) we are required to have extensive safety programs, and therefore take special safety measures unlike any of our competitors involved only in residential tree care.
