MEET THE PASTOR Rev Anthony M. Graham

At the age of twelve, Rev Anthony Graham felt the call of God into ministry. It
was at that time that he began preaching the Gospel in his local assembly.
At the age of seventeen, he graduated from Andrew Jackson
High School and entered the United States Army. After six years in the military,
serving in Washington State and Korea; he enrolled in York College, it was there
he met his lovely wife Leslie-Ann, they married and God has blessed their union
with three children, Amara, Anthony Jr. and Amira. Rev Graham graduated with a
BS in Accounting and a MBA from St. John’s University, is listed in Who’s
Who in American Universities & Colleges and has started work on his Ph.D. in
Christian Philosophy.
Rev Graham is a tenured High School teacher and enjoys
taking ministry to the children of the New York Public School System. As a
Pastor, teacher and conference speaker, he is right at home in front of any size
group.
Rev Graham serves as Pastor of the East New York Wesleyan Church, an inner city
multicultural ministry. This church was planted ten years ago and started with twelve members.
It now has a weekly average attendance of 350 and a strong Sunday School ministry.
East New York Wesleyan has a myriad of ministries including a G.E.D. Program,
Computer literacy program and Compassion ministries (providing food,
and clothing to the needy).
The Headquarters of the Wesleyan Church recognizes Pastor Graham as a dynamic
leader and speaker. He was chosen to be chairperson of the ’96 Festival of Missions
Celebration and spoke at the ’96 Quadrennial meeting of the World Wesleyan Fellowship,
served on the Council of Evangelism Committee and currently serves on the Public Morals
committee for the denomination. He also gave a workshop at the last Denominational Evangelism
Meeting where all Wesleyan Churches in North America and Canada were invited.
In September of 1999, Pastor Graham served as Keynote speaker for three District
Conferences in Australia and in September of 2000 served as Keynote speaker at
the Atlantic District Pastor and Spouses Retreat where former General
Superintendent, Dr. H.C. Wilson serves as District Superintendent. In January
2001, Pastor Graham spoke at the National Deeper Life Crusade in Barbados and in
Feb 2001, at the 14th Regional Conference in Bhagdpur
India.
His ministry has also been exposed to the university
level as he has ministered at Indiana Wesleyan University, Southern Wesleyan
University, Houghton College and Bethany Bible College in New Brunswick Canada. He
was also elected to served on the Board of Trustees for Bethany Bible College in New Brunswick Canada.
In his district he is also recognized as a leader. He was
twice elected as a delegate to General Conference for his district, has served
as Chairman of the Metropolitan Zone for five years and has been a member of the
District Board of Administration for 8 years.
He has traveled and ministered in several parts of the
world including Australia, Barbados, Canada, Colombia South America, England,
India, Korea, Russia, St. Thomas, Trinidad & Tobago, and in many parts of
the United States.
