Eastside Memorial V F W POST 2996 was
chartered in 1987. The first post home was in Pittsville at the Pittsville's
Lions Club. They then bought the old Powellville Elem School and property in
1990.
Finally arrived platform was just the right

The first Canteen was a hole cut in the
wall of the coat closet 1990 |
Post
meetings are held the first and third Thursday of each month.
Ladies Aux. meetings are held the 2nd
Wednesday of each month.
