Early Marriages of POLSTON Family
Hart County, Kentucky

The Hart County Court House, Munfordville, Kentucky burned in 1928 destroying all the records with the exception of one order book. This has made it extremely difficult to obtain factual information of our Polston/Poston Family who had lived in Hart County for several generations prior to the year of 1928. Before Hart County was formed, it was Hardin County on the north side of Green River, and it was Barren County on the south side of Green River. I have obtained some records and dates from other counties, Bible records, NARA files, church records, and family members which leaves me with some date approximations based on what I have gained from these sources.
