Take it from one who has seen part of the making of this film up close, this new Julia Roberts film Mona Lisa Smile, sucks big time.
Don't waste your money or your time to go see it, from what I witnessed on the set of this whopping lousy film one will begin the gagging reflex shortly after watching this piece of garbage!
The story is not only stupid, it's been done before. This time though, it's at a girls college. Wow! How clever, about as good as the crappy dialogue, I had to listen to.
Some of the other actresses in this tripe are Kirsten Dunst, Julia Stiles, Maggie Gyllenhaal. Mike Newell directs this "winner," of a film. He was the director of The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones: Masks of Evil, back in 1999, where Jones battles the 500 year old Dracula. That film will turn out to better than this trash, that's for sure.
Lawrence Konner and Mark Rosenthal, the two writers of this film were the writers responsible for The Beverly Hillbillies movie back in 1993. This is all you really need to know to understand what I had to bare witness to on the time I spent on this junk.
And just for the record, since Julia Roberts is producing this mess, Julia's stand-in for this picture, Julie Wagner, is much better looking than Julia herself. |
