Ebony

...ivorn flakes of icy snow fly all around you, obscuring your vision. you can barely see a foot in front of you, and every now and then you find yourself bumping into trees, or stumbling over fallen branches. you're tired, cold, and hungry. is it your fate to die here, miserably? your senses grow weaker as you carry on. you've got no idea how long you've been here, travelling, endlessly searching for that one bit of hope. you're desperate. suddenly, everything begins to fade. is this your ending? as the white cold slowly fades into a mass of endless ebony, your senses blurr, and then finally you faint. when you awaken, you are in a cave. the blizzard seems to have ended long ago. how long have you been here? you slowly raise yourself to a stand, your optics darting around. you see two masculine wolves, looking at you. one is colored of purest snow with energetic oculi of emerald, the other is pure raven-hued with misty orbs of azure. the white one speaks to you, "Hello," he says, "Finally woke up." you stare at him, confused. what did he just say? the ebon wolf seems to see the confusion on your face, for he speaks next. "It's alright." he says, "You're safe now. We've brought you to our land, where wolves roam free." the ivorn wolf nods, a smile creasing his lips, "Yes." he says, "This is the Land of Ebony. My name's Fell, and this is my brother, Sirius." the black wolf nods. "Yes." he says, "Now, if I were you, I'd run along now - you've got some work to do, wolves to meet, a pack to join...yadda yadda yadda." with that the two fall silent, leaving you to decide your fate in the lands of ebony...
