Definition of Unity

Unity is the ultimate objective in the design world. The image(s) must look like they belong together, that there is an agreement between the elements that binds them together. When a designer has organized all of the fragments or elements of the composition or piece of work into a cohesive whole, they have a unified design.

Through using the principles of design, a designer and/or artist can achieve unity in their work.
