Listed here are some math "toys" that Mrs. Hutchinson would love to have in her classroom to enhance teaching. 
TI-83 Plus Graphing Calculator
Allows students to explore use of a graphing calculator and what it can do.

Dry Erase Markers
We use these every day and could always use a new set (4-8 colors.)
Calculators:  Class set for those students who inevitably forget, lose, or break theirs just before the test!
Nothing fancy; any that will do basic operations.
Children's literature with Math themes--over 100 various titles
Stories like "Sir Cumference and the First Round Table" and "G is for Google" add interest and help teach concepts as we explore different math topics.
Available at most bookstores.

Math Games, Logic Puzzles, Brain Teasers, Mazes--Classics or whatever's new
Games like Rush Hour, Set, & Crazy Pigs challenge students to use logic, patterning, and other important thinking skills that enhance mathematical ability.  They make math more fun, too!
