Aphrodite could also be quiet mean. When Glaucus didn't allow his mares to breed, she caused the mares to throw him from his chariot during a race, after that, they ate him. On another occasion, certain women fron Astagpalaea angered her by claiming to be more beautiful than she was, she made them grow cow horns.
Here's an idea of what Aphrodite might have looked like.
Aphrodite committed adultry on her husband many times. To speed herself up a little, she had her husband Hephaestus make an embroidered girdle for her that aroused passion  for her in the wearer. Her most known affair is the one with Ares, the god of war. These two were madly in love with each other. On one occassion, they had slept too late and Helios, god of the sun, found them and told Hephaestus. Hephaestus let them both know he knew about thier little afair by making an extremely strong metal web that he draped around the bed and they could not get up. But even this did not make Aphrodite stop her adulteress ways. Aphrodite was truly an interesting person. She was one of the most powerful and important of all the Greek gods.
