The original soundtrack for the German version of the Neverending Story (Die Unendliche Geschichte) was arranged, directed and produced and composed by Mr. Klaus Doldinger. For the american version, he's only credited for songs 6 to 15. From slowest to triumphal songs, his music really fit with every scenes of the movie. For the American version, the pop-singer Limahl the give his best with the title song " The Neverending Story". The producer of the first 5 songs of the American album was Giorgio Moroder.
