Brewings and Hospitality
BACK
Merry Meet!
Come on in, slip off your shoes, take off your hat,, park your broom and have a cup of brew.
This is a place for us Mama Witches, Kitchen Witches or anyone who needs to sit a spell and relax with a friend or two.
We can look over some recipes together, share a bit of laughter and just be ourselves. Enjoy!

Bright Blessings,

Recipes from My Kitchen:
I like to keep fresh flowers around and have plants in the house. My only problem is my eldest daughters cat Daisy takes offense at the flowers and will eat them! LOL
Having a cinnamon broom hanging  up or simmering orange peels, cloves and cinnamon sticks on the stove freshens the air and has such a lovely scent.
I use cinnamon also on my carpets to promote a nice smell and good Magick.
Cinnamon is also one of my favorites in my Magick.
I always seem to have candles burning, I try to get them in colors that are right for what is needed in the household and in appropiate scents as well.Color and Candle Magick is what I use the most in my Spiritual Path.
Blessed Be,

Abundant Blessings

Don't overlook the small things. The Goddess' blessings are
abundant.

Be thankful for the purring of a soft kitten, the snoring of
a contented dog, the home you have, the friends who help
fill it, the enjoyable jobs, the days of good health, enough
food to eat, and more, safety in travel and in rest, clothes
to wear and clothes to wash, furnishings for home and
hearth, reliable transportation, for rain that makes things
grow, the sun that warms the earth, and the Goddess' love
that makes it all possible.

"Meal Blessing"

Thank you Lord and Lady for this food, your gift to us,
Let it nourish both our body and spirit,
We are truly thankful for the sun and moon, rain and wind,
The harvest and the ones who grow the foods.
Bless us Lord and Lady and bless them too.
So Mote it be. (Or Amen)

"It is not enough for us to say: I love God, but I do not love my neighbor... How can you love God whom you do not see, if you do not love your neighbor whom you see, whom you touch, with whom you live?"

~
Mother Teresa,  in her speech of acceptance of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979.
INSPIRATION
In Our Home...
Autumn......
The days are growing cooler and my favorite time of year is upon us. Autumn. I love this Season most of all.
The beauty of the leaves changing color. More subtle here in the Southern states, than other places. But still so lovely.
My three daughters do so enjoy the days that can be spent out of doors. Summers are so hot, humid and buggy!
We all love to come back nside for a cup of tea and each night we have a nice hot cup of peppermint or chamomile tea.
Enjoying our Hearth and Home. And one anothers company.
