as a Goth Angel
Gothic Chic
Many of us "older folks" (I am 30- Something) have perhaps looked at you, the younger generations with a few raised eyebrows...my sincere apologies!
I admit when the Body Piercing and then the Tribal Piercing styles came out I was a tad turned off. Those were in my more close-minded church lady days.LOL
I find as I free my mind from  preconceived ideas and notions I am warming up to this, Our New Generation.
I find so many of them to be forward thinking, and intellectually stimulating!
And I connect sometimes better with my daughters age groups than my own peers...I do not know if that is because I am young at heart OR my few friends are stick in the muds! *smile*
And I would never have considered any daughter of mine getting a Tatoo, now it is Mom wanting a few of her own before they can get theirs! *grin*
My husband just rolls with the flow, and is becoming more open minded as well.

So thanks to all of you "Gothics", as your sincerity and great attitudes have won over this ol' lady.*wink*

Bright Blessings,

"LOVE SONG FOR A VAMPIRE"
Come into these arms again
And lay your body down
The rhythm of this trembling heart
Is beating like a drum
It beats for you
It bleeds for you
It knows not how it sounds
For it is the drum of drums
It is the song of songs

Once I had the rarest rose
That ever deigned to bloom
Cruel winter chilled the bud
And stole my flower too soon
Oh loneliness, Oh hopelessness
To search the ends of time
For there is in all the world
No greater love than mine

Love oh love oh love oh love...
Still falls the rain
Love oh love oh love oh love...
Still falls the night
Love oh love oh love oh love...
Be mine forever
Love oh love oh love oh love...

Let me be the only one
To keep you from the cold
Now the floor of heaven's laid
With stars of brightest gold
They shine for you, they shine for you
They burn for all to see
Come into these arms again
And set this spirit free

(set it free set it free)

"The Wildly Beautiful Ones"

By days glow or by the dark of the night,
They come to play, they come out.
Dressed in the dramatic colors of black , red, pink, purple and even white...
They will shock you, they will allure you with a sneer or a pout.
The Vamps, the Gothics...
   the Wildly Beautiful Ones!
