Happy Mother's Day
Each year Boy Scout Troop #357 hosts its Mother's Day Pancake Breakast at the Kenai Elks Lodge.
This was the 33rd annual breakfast.
We don't miss many of them - it is too much fun to go and be waited on by nervous young men -
many of whom have NEVER served breakfast to anyone before.
Come on in - the food is great. ;-))
<•>
This year fruit was an added bonus to the regular fare of pancakes, bacon and sausage links.
Timothy asked for seconds and also helped cousin JessiAnna finish her fruit.
<•>
The girls took turns with Mickinzie. She didn't seem to mind.
<•>
Gramma's Goth style girls strike a pose while Gramma and Timothy share a moment.
<•>

When all of the food has been cleared away - and all of the tummies are full -
that is when Gramma likes to gather them ALL around her for a group hug and a photo shoot.
The last shot was done simply because ALL of the kids wanted it.
So Gramma and the two mamas joined in. Strike the Pose!

When all is said and done - after an early and busy morning -
a nap sounds pretty good!

Later in the day . . .

Grandpa and Mairi work on a building project in the garage.
Hope that everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day.
Hope that your surprises were many and the kisses were too.
Hubby and I also took a motorcycle ride today - rode to Kasilof for lunch,
then to the end of Funny River Road.
When we returned home, he and Sean and Mairi washed
the motorcycles and the car AND the van. WOW!!!
Thanks for visiting
