Except for a few players at the starter LS's, this place was devoid of life. There is a Macro at one of the LS's.
A very pretty town.

----------------
Not a soul to be found in town or the starter towns.
June 13th, 2001
----------------
A lot busier here today. Many PKers working the outskirts of town.

Ran right into a Mid Evil Raid. No Defenders around - oh well. I went back later and the town was well defended by
the Freezer burn clan. They must have logged when Mid Evil arrived - just a guess.

Located at 86.6N, 21.5E. I saw one Blood clan player here. This mage has everything!

I saw one player here. Prices are high, buying and selling. A very small fort and no LS.
May 28th, 2001
----------------
This fort is owned by followers of Owain Goch. The portal from the South Dires is the sourch of most raids, I am told.
It looked very peaceful while I was there. You need a key to get thru the gates and I had a feeling thoes inside would
not open the gates for just anybody. The LS is camped by crits and at least one Macro character.
May 25th, 2001

Lots of action here! The Mid Evil and the Bloods seem to be taking turns hitting the town. I'm not welcome in town as I
am not "tagged" (no monarch). But the LS is not far from town an a lot of fights erupt right next to me.

Things were fairly quite in town this past week. There were a couple of raids while I was on. The "of Fed" gang are very tough to
stand against, even if your level 50+ as they work as a team to kill you. They hit GW then summon portal to Rithwic to continue
their raid there and in Holtburg.

A constant stream of Blood raiders hitting this town. Easy pickings draw the Blood clan here like flies.
June 7th, 2001
----------------
Only two players around. No attacks against me but there appears to be no town defenders here.
June 6th, 2001
----------------
This town was held by Kung-moe's followers while I was there. The players seemed jumpy but friendly enough.
I had the feeling I would be welcome in the castle. It is probably the loveliest castle in all of Dereth.

----------------
This town is held by Toe Foo (5S). There are PK'ers hitting this place often as there is an easy portal nearby to tie to.
The town defenders stay busy and outsiders are not welcome.
May 25th, 2001
----------------
This town is truely a bad place to go to. There are many PK'ers working this place and very few town defenders.
Lots of Bloods hit here often.
June 13th, 2001
----------------
Still there are many PK'ers working this place. This town has always been a nasty place.
June 9th, 2001
----------------
A few untagged low-level players killing each other here. One higher level player of Maximus The Great II was near town.
June 13th, 2001
----------------
Very quiet here, no PKing going on. One higher level player of Schattenkind was in town.
May 28th, 2001
----------------
This town appears to be held by Pengraff the Just. I saw a few PKers in town, but they were busy buying and selling.
I would guess that PKing is not allowed in town. No raids while I was there.

A raid on Sawato today was done by Bloods with a fellowship of "We Love Swato" possibly led by Ziroth along with
Telkis as an observer.

This is the hot spot for school age kids. It is constant chaos as so many kids are trying to kill each other. Low level
stuff but very active area and hard to tell the good guys from the bad guys. If you want mindless killing, this is it.
June 5th, 2001

Very quiet during my visit. Mostly a Reckless town but lots of other clans in town as well.
No raids while I was there.

This town is truely a bad place to go to. There are many PK'ers working this place and no town defenders.
Pappa Smurf territory I guess.
June 9th, 2001

The Bloods portal in from the Dires to buy comps, then lifestone back to Ayan Baqur. Otherwise the town was deserted.
June 8th, 2001
----------------
I haven't seen much of these islands yet. Kryst town only had two players there. The only lifestone I saw is at 78.2S, 85.3E.
Five players hanging out there. None seemed to be PKers.
June 11th, 2001
----------------
A group in fellowship as 'Police' saw me as a threat and killed me before I got very far.
June 13th, 2001
----------------
Located at 41.9S, 16.2E is a portal to this best kept secreat of Dereth. Entry is restricted to levels 1 - 25. It is by far
the loveliest town in all of Dereth. There is a portal to a lifestone also underground. The AC designers went all out on this
place. Do try to visit this town, you wont be disappointed. No one here while I was here.
June 9th, 2001
----------------
A running battle between Kung-mao and Mid Evil was in full swing during my visit.

These lifestones are not near major towns and sorted N. to S. |

D D P (5G) has sworn to Stargod (5S) sometime between 5/12/01 and 5/23/01 as seen in Ocle's assessment.
Mu fasa (4G) has sworn to Albertgore the Penius (4S) between 4/21/01 and 6/13/01 as seen in Kilwyn's assessment.
The-Gimps (7G) are the 1st I've seen as rank seven as seen in Nelgar's assessment on 6/13/01.

Darktide! It is tough. It is supposed to be tough. AC Darktide provides the perfect arena for the struggle between good and evil.
However, unlike the storybooks, I believe evil is winning the day. There is not one place left where a newbee can feel he has
a chance to play. Evil is strongest at all the starter towns, where a quick 50 pyreals can be made on each new log on. Greed,
a hallmark of evil, is at its finest here. If I must log on without a weapon or armor, at least make me an NPK for a few seconds.
There is not one city left that is held by the good guys, excepting maybe Stonehold, which fell again to a lone gunman, the
last time I was there. Sour grapes you cry. "Your a loser", evil says. Well, your right. But I play on as I have since Dec 1999. As
long as I continue to play, I know I have not lost.
What a pleasure it is to ID a red dot on my radar and see the monarch listed as Black Rose Noble, or Reckless. I know I
can relax and chat for a minute. Almost any other monarch's name means get ready for a fight if I am of lower level than the other player.
Evil, true to form, seldom attacks when it might be a fair fight.
How did it come to this state of affairs, you might ask? I think I know how it all happened. It started with no accountability
for ones actions. If a first leveler cries foul about a 10th leveler that killed and robed him, well that is just sour grapes and nobody
cares anyway, so shut up. So, if a man breaks into your house and steals your TV you should not complain? A 10th leveler killing a 1st
leveler is theft in my opinion. But there are no cops on DT, so the thief goes on to the next new player arriving any moment.
O.K., lets be fair about this, we were warned about this server. Most players come here, quickly die and return to their
"care bear" server, never to return. But they are not the problem. The problem is the easy kills affect the killers, and easy prey
is habit forming. And because the easy prey is "human", it never gets boring, so lets do it again, Ha Ha.
The missing element here is accountability! Like shoplifting, if you never get caught, you do it again. So my intent is to
put accountability back into the equation. Now you can get caught. Now there is a bounty on your head! Maybe a few of the "good guys"
will bring you to justice. If so, there may still be a chance for good to win over evil on Darktide. :-)
