Prerequisite - successful completion of Biology, Precalculus (or concurrent) and Chemistry or ChemCom (or concurrent). Elective for juniors and seniors. One credit. Full year. This is an activity-based course which focuses on topics such as linear motion, forces, energy, momentum, circular motion, waves, sound and light. Students will be actively involved in laboratory experiments, student-to-student problem solving, unit projects, and presentations. Students taking this course may elect to take the AP Physics C: Mechanics Exam for possible college credit in the spring of the year.
