Course Description
Prerequisite - Successful completion of Biology and Geometry (Algebra II concurrent encouraged). Elective for juniors and seniors. One credit. Full year. This is an activity-based course which focuses on topics such as motion, forces, energy, sound, light and electricity. Students will be actively involved in laboratory experiments, student-to-student problem solving, unit projects, and presentations. This has a greater scope then AP Physics, but goes less in depth.  It is also less intensive in the level of math as compared to AP Physics. This elective course does fulfill the physical science requirement for graduation.
