| Nestled in the longest mountain range in South Africa is the awesome Blyderiver Canyon (Canyon of Joy) and regarded by many ecologists as one of the great natural wonders of the country. Highlight is when we set out on a very special Exploration tour and venture deep into the canyon. The geology and climate of this region is so rare and hardly experienced by many that may just drive past without noticing the awesome wonder of the flora. |
| ROCKS THAT GROW! would you believe us when we can show you how a waterfall and rocks that can grow in mass. On our amazing Exploration tour deep into the Canyon we experience how canyons are formed and learn more about the fantastic rock formations. Highlight is the visit to the world's third largest tufa waterfall set deep inside the canyon. |

| TUFA WATERFALLS Waterfalls belongs basically to two geological groups: a) Constructive waterfalls - i.e. waterfalls with growth b) Destructive waterfalls - i.e. waterfalls wich are lowering. Tufa waterfalls belongs to the a) group and are waterfalls that grow. The dolomite rock formation is in a growing process and this can be seen only deep inside the canyon and from the advantage of our bout excursion.
