Frank's Field of Dreams "Where Words Have Meaning." |
"Frank's Field of Dreams." Alright folks, I will not update anymore news regarding about baseball here anymore, I've created everything new and have it on a new domain name and webhost. This page will remain as an archive and I'll continue to update College Life section for my friends at East Carolina. Click below if you're looking for Frank's Field of Dreams. (3/30) Frank's Field of Dreams "College Corner." Updated and added a lot of pictures from the past few months, check it out. (3/28) "Jerk of the Month." I've updated the page with February & March winners, sorry it took me sometime since the last update, I didn't want to update it and make another one on the new domain all over. (3/23) "The New Deal." I've been working on the new site much of this past week and I'll not be able to update the site again until 3/21 as I'm on my spring break next week. Click the link below for the new website, it's up, but not 100% finished yet. (3/11) Frank's Field of Dreams "Double the Fun." Norihiro Nakamura was 1-for-3 with a double in Dodgers' 6-4 loss to Mets. (3/5) "Taboo for Yabu." Keiichi Yabu retired the first four batters before running into trouble. (3/4) Notes: Meyer, Yabu struggle "Lost in Transition." Hideo Nomo started for the Devil Rays and took the 4-1 defeat by the Reds. The Japanese hurler allowed two runs and four hits while striking out one. (3/4) "Fitting In." Tadahito Iguchi already looked to be settled in as part of the White Sox infield. But it will take more than a routine grounder during the Cactus League opener to help the Far Eastern import assimilate to the American style of baseball and the country itself. (3/2) Iguchi adjusting to America "Meet Ohka-san." Tomo Ohka feels healthy and has been going full speed this spring training. (3/1) Meet the Nationals: Tomo Ohka "Forget the Past." Chan Ho Park is hoping to having his best season in the last few years. (3/1) Park intent on putting woes in past "Up & Down." Willie Randolph was impressed with Kaz Matsui's play in the intrasquad game. (2/28) Notes: Matsui's day up and down "Game Time." Hideo Nomo threw one inning in intrasquad game and allowed just one baserunner and struck out one hitter. (2/28) Notes: Nomo takes to the mound "Weekend Update." I have bought my domain name this week as I'm in the process of trying to move this site to another webhost. Bad news is that I'll be using MS FrontPage to do my updates in the future so right now I'm trying to make my site in MS FrontPage, yes, that means I have to start everything out from scratch again. So it will take me about a week or two to get everything done, but I promise you that the new website will be done by the end of Spring Training, as well as 2005 Far East Heroes. Again, thanks for the patience and support. (2/25) |

Hello baseball fans. Frank's Field of Dreams is created to support Asian baseball players who play over here in the United States, my hobby of baseball card collection along with autographs, and a few other things related to baseball such as Current Events. Being a native of Taiwan myself, it has been a dream come true for me to see so many Asian players succeed in the highest level of baseball competition in the world. College Life "Kiss me, I'm a pirate!" Tribute to coach Keith LeClair Keith LeClair went from walk-on at Western Carolina to Southern Conference tournament MVP in 1988. As a 25-year-old head coach, he took Western Carolina to within one game of the College World Series. But two years ago, a meteoric coaching career suddenly hit an unavoidable roadblock as he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis which is better known as Lou Gherig disease. He stepped down as the head coach at East Carolina at the conclusion of the 2002 season. LIFE AFTER BASEBALL |
