I picked Zeus up in Cross Plains Texas about
an hour away from where I reside. Zeus now
resides with us on Dyess AFB, Texas. Which
is in the city of Abilene. I bought him when
he was about 8 weeks old. He was living in a
complete dump. He was outside in a pin without
no protection from the outside elements. And
was being fed rotten scraps. Zeus was born
September 12, 2001. Within about 2 weeks we had
him potty trained for the most part anyway. And
had already taught him to sit and come when we called
his name.
As of now he is 6 months old and weighs 48 pounds. He measures 19 1/2 inches tall at the shoulder.
Zeus loves to play fetch with his tennis ball and seems to
never get tired. He also likes to chase birds and try to
catch them. Right now I am in the process of teaching
him to catch a frisbee. For the most part he just brings it
back once it hits the ground. I have had many different breeds
of dogs and Zeus my pitbull is the best breed I have ever worked with.
He is loving, playful and very smart. I have a 1 1/2 year old son, the only problem I have had is them not being able to share toys. (LOL)
Hopefully here soon I will try rescuing pitbull's from the animal shelters and family's that no longer want them. And then I can place them into homes with caring and responsible owners.
