Every year, all the Kings of Aloria gather during the famous Alorn Council. There they discuss recent matters of politics, the latest news from the world and they just have a great time together. At this particular Alorn Council, you will be able to read the latest news, though the usual amount of ale that goes with it will have to wait, I fear. Polgara preferred it that way. In fact, she insisted.

A NEW EDDINGS FANTASY SERIES!
Next July a new epic fantasy series by David and Leigh Eddings will hit the bookstores with its first volume! The series will be called The Dreamers and its first volume will be named The Elder Gods. The story will be about a world in which the Gods switch sleeping (and dreaming) periods every thousand years or so - and during that switch the evil Lord of the Wasteland will try to take control of the world! There will be battles, intrigues, a great cast of both human and divine characters and of course the wit and magic of Eddings that we all have come to love so much! You can check out the synopsis and publishing details at amazon, by following this link.

At Amazon a picture of the cover of the first book of David and Leigh Eddings new fantasy series has been revealed! It may still be a prototyope, but at least we can now see that the book is definitely on its way! Note the presence of water on the background - are we in for some aquatic magic? In a few months we will know!

THE ELDER GODS FINAL COVER
Not long ago amazon uk posted the first picture of the cover of Eddings latest fantasy novel. But now the cover has been altered: the image of a ship, looking very much like a ship from ancient Greece, has been added! Would David and Leigh Eddings have chosen for a Greek mythological point of view for their new series? They already did Medieval and Bronze Age settings, so it would not be an unlogic choice. I cannot wait to find out! Click the picture to see it enlarged.

TREASURED ONE
The new title of the second book in the Dreamers series has been revealed! It is called: Treasured One. Nothing yet is known of the plot, yet in a recent interview with David Eddings in the fantasy worlds issue of Starlog magazine, he anounced a new, unexpected lady character will suddenly appear and take things in her own hands. Could this be the Treasured One, perhaps? We will have to wait until July 5, when the book is set to be released!

THE OFFICIAL FIRST SYNOPSIS OF TREASURED ONE!
The second brilliant book in a brand new fantasy series, set in an entirely new from bestselling authors David and Leigh Eddings. They are called the Dreamers. They look like sleeping children. They are, in fact, Gods. Despite the literally earth-shattering climax of The Elder Gods, Dahlaine still does not regret having brought the Dreamers into the world of the Elder Gods. He only wishes he'd thought harder about the consequences. His sister Aracia fears the whole world will collapse in on itself if the Dreamers should all wake up and realize where they are. It's bad enough with them dreaming the future, but at least it's a future. Dahlaine is pretty sure he's safe from an 'I-told-you-so' from Aracia. The Dreamers give the Elder Gods a chance in the battle against the vicious Ruler of the Wasteland. Then spies of very short stature start cropping up in Veltan's bucolic and peaceful domain. They look like people, or maybe they all look like the same person, but they are more sinister than that. Fortunately, Dahlaine is soon on the scene riding his thunderbolt. This second story of the sibling Gods is the story of the first god Dahlaine and his child Yaltar, who is so dangerous when asleep. And it is the story of the Treasured One, a mysterious presence who is controlling Yaltar's dreams! Source: www.amazon.co.uk Note from the webmistress: there appear to be some mistakes in this synopsis. Those of you who have read The Elder Gods, will know that Yaltar is the Dreamer child of Veltan, not of Dahlaine, and probably it is also the pet thunderbolt of Veltan which is meant in this synopsis. Anyway, this sounds really good! Can‘t wait till July!
