If your into Demons, gouls and creatures of the undead, then this is the series for you. Welcome to the Hellsing organization, England's defence against the supernatural demons of the night. Of corse, Hellsing isn't like just any secret organization bent on ridding the world of the unnatural menaces to society. No, they are more then that. They have a secret wepon that would seem to go against everything that they believe in. An unmistakable force that has been whispered about, and can never truly be believed until it is seen, the vampire Alucard. The only one capable of controling this creature is the young, hard leader of Hellsing, Sir Integra Wingates Hellsing. The series itself is short, only 13 episodes, but actually does quiet a good job developing the main charactes. The only thing that will become aparent as you watch the series is that their is more then one story plot durring certian episodes, and that some of them have no link to the main story at all much like any other series. I would warn that this may not be apropriate for younger children, due to the graphic and violent nature of the series, but that of course is up to your own desgression. A further note on this series is that while it came out a few years ago, there has been talk about the creators coming out with a second seasson. Once you watch the series you'll see just how needed that really is. ^_~ |
