Formerly Dir en grey was named La:Sadie's consisting of Kyo, Kaoru, Die and Shinya but with a different bassist. Later they disbanned and the four of them decided to build up a new band. The only problem they had was the missing of a new bassist. They'd offered Toshiya to be the bassist of their new band, who they had met in former times in Nagano.
Thus, in 1997 Dir en grey was formed and consists of Kyo, the Songwriter and Vocalist (he has the ability to make any sounds *_* fans will know what I mean *smile*), Kaoru, Composer and Lead Guitarist, Die, also Guitarist -he plays electric and accoustic guitar-, Shinya, Drummer, and finally Toshiya, the Bassist of the band as I have said before. Their music is ehm... special and not comparable with all the other J-bands. *_* |
