The wind whipped the ocean into billows mountains high. Lightening flashed and thunder rolled across the evening sky. The storm raged on for hours, while a ship out on the sea, Was running into danger, their way they could not see. When a beam from a lighthouse shone out across the waves, Guiding them safely to the shelter of the bay. How like life this story is when the storms of life do blow, We have a lighthouse keeper who guides us safely home, Into the peaceful harbour, He leads us day by day, Reminding us that Jesus is the light and the way.
