In your presence, Lord, I humbly bow, With grateful heart, I feel you standing near, I beg forgiveness, for my willfulness, And thank you for, your tender loving care. I can't believe the blessings, that you give, Even though, you know my thoughts and deeds, In my thoughtlessness, I often fail, To give you praise, and thank you for my needs.
You sacrificed, your dearest, precious Son, He, gave his life, for sinners such as me, To see Him suffer, must have broken your heart, As He hung, and died upon a tree. The tears I'm shedding now, seem all in vain, How can you love, so much, someone like me, Forgive me Lord, I bow my head in shame, And see the nail scarred hands, that bled for me.
Tell me Lord, what would you have me do? I want to be receptive to your will. Set your Holy Spirit, in my heart, And let me hear you whisper, "peace be still", Let me be a beacon Lord, for Thee, Maybe, I can help, in some small way, To be a light, to someone else, in need, To you, be all the glory, and the praise! Amen
