| Dear Lord, my soul, is crying out for you. Don't turn away, I'm truly sorry. I was convinced, that I could make it on my own, But now I see, I'm nothing without you. For in my heart, there is a place for only you, When you're not here, I'm sad and lonely, I realize, you are a vital part of me, My joy, my peace, creator, Lord, and King. Lord, here am I, coming now on bended knee, I need your love, I beg forgiveness, Just as I am, surrendering my all, Lord, not my will, but Thy will be done. As I come Lord, in all humility, I thank you for, my needs provided. To you all praise, and love, and majesty, I proclaim, for now and evermore. Jeannette E. Smith March 07, 2002 |
