That sustains us, through the trouble and strife,
We can obtain it, simply through prayer.
It softens the heartaches, in life,
When sorrow and grief, overtake us,
And a curtain of tears, dim our eyes,
God gives us, the blessed peace, He has promised,
That peace, only He can supply.
We wonder how we, would ever get through,
The heartache and tear-filled days,
Without the peace, that passeth, all understanding,
To God, be all glory and praise.
