Entry #6 - 01/07/01
This week was full of surprises, surprises that made us a little frantic! We were told last minute by The WB that we had to perform for critics and that we would sing a medly of 4 songs live with choreography. That was added onto recording our 9th song!
Was I a little frantic? Yes. Did it all work out? Absolutely! It was actually a really exciting week! In our 9th song "It Wasn't Me," Rosanna and I share the verse and pre-chorus and we sound great! And guess what? I got a sexy ad-lib in the song too! Isn't that exciting? It was for me! Then it was crunch time - Friday began with a 2 hour vocal session with Roger, a 3 hour rehearsal with Travis and Stacey for choreography and then a run-through of the show at the Ritz-Carlton. We had to dress in disguises and were surrounded with security! It was so exciting! I really felt for the first time that we were a band and it was great! It was so nice to have production behind us. To sum it up, it all felt right!!!
