<BODY> <FONT FACE="ARIAL" SIZE=8><B>The Hooser Family in Texas</B></FONT> <FONT FACE="ARIAL" SIZE=3>This site is devoted to exchanging information about the Hooser family in Texas. <BR><BR><A NAME="descend"></A>While exploring the origins of the Texas Hoosers, we will touch the histories of the Van Hoesen and Martin Hauser families whose descendents spread across the country starting around 1639 for the Van Hoesens and 1727 for the Hausers. Today, Van Hoesen descendents in this country bear the names Vanhoesen, Vanhooser, Vanhoose, Vanhoosier, Vanhoozer, Vanhoozier, Van Huss, Hoosier, and Hooser. Martin Hauser descendents answer to Hauser, Hooser, Hoosier, Howser, and Houser. (There are probably many other variations.)<BR><BR> We also offer publications that explore the influence of these families on American history, particularly the state of Indiana. </BODY>
