In the near future the following material will be uploaded to this website:
- Practically alone of the English-dominated left groups in Wales, the groups affiliated to the United Secretariat of the Fourth International (USFI) attempted to develop a serious understanding of Welsh history, politics and culture. Archived here are the most important documents produced by supporters of the the USFI groups and their successors in Wales from 1980 to the present day.
- ‘The national question merges everywhere with the social’, Trotsky once commented. If this was true in the 1930s when he wrote, it is even more so today. Here we will be archiving what for us are fundamentally important, but frequently overlooked, materials relating to the national question and how revolutionary socialists should relate to it.
- We shall also be uploading an anonymous text (to which we have given the title ‘The Socialist Revolution East and West’) which was written by a member of the International Marxist Group (the then British Section of the USFI) over 1978-79, and which circulated among certain circles of the British state left in the late 1970s and 1980s. The motivation for the text’s republication is explained at the beginning of my introduction to it, which is archived here.
- In due course, I also intend to upload my reading notes on Marx’s Capital.
