Larry Tachik

Larry Tachik made his debut in the 2000 season and his impact was felt immediately.  Although his pure playing ability made him a rookie of the year candidate, he didn't play enough games to persuade the voters and lost to Wes Blackwell.  Tachik, the former Hobart High School soccer standout,  has great speed, and is as tough as they get.  He may be the only player with the physical tools to become a better receiver than
Josh Neace, and is equally dangerous.  Tachik made his HSFL return in 2001 and continued his dominance by scoring 4 touchdowns.  Tachik and Matt Lams have had several epic battles over their careers, which is always a fun match-up to watch.  The league has been considering whether or not they should make a full-time investment in Tachik, but they are unsure at this point.  Tachik could go down as one of the all-time greats if he gets to play enough games.
