**How it all got started**
It all started with a broken Mini Lop buck named Dylan. I bought him in February of 2002. Soon after we bred him to Princess, my brothers REW Mini Lop. From that litter there were two broken bucks, Derby and Rocket, a solid buck, Ricochet, a broken doe, Haley, and a solid doe, Cocoa. Haley became a first year rabbit members 4-H project for the 2002 fair. She placed second in her class, but later went on to win Best of Breed at the GPRBA show on 4/5/03 over 99 Mini Lops to earn her first leg. Her second leg came on 7/23/30 at the Putnam County Fair where she won her class. Dylan also won his class and went BOSV for his first leg at the fair.
The Mini Lops were great, but I wanted to look for a special breed of my own. I decided on the Himalayans. I have had good luck with them so far, and finally have all four varieties to start working with. |
