These are dream cars I really had |
Dream car #1 was a Ford Model A |

We scrounged parts from all the local farms and built a running car in, like, 3 years, |

Dream car #2 was a Porsche 928 |

With so many rich buddies in our exclusive town who owned Prosche 911's, when I finally got rich myself, I bought my dream Porsche, a 928. It was a clean sheet design; front water cooled V8 engine, ultra torquey rear end from Mercedes and a sculpted body that caught my eye years before I knew what it was. All of my 911 friend's cars always needed a tune up, and not one ever took me out for a run.

Dream car #3, my "ole Gray Paint" |
For all the the striving I did to become a big shot, I never forgot the special, comfortable life of the farm boy. I found and kept an orchard truck forever, "Gray," a wokhorse of my childhood. It saved me many times, and when I got rich, I had it's entire dive chain totally rebuilt, no expense denied. As with myself, it was not one for snapshops, the following one is about all we have. |
