When we entered high school we thought we were grown up and owned the world but we were soon to realize that we were just a small part of it. Upon entering our sophomore year we looked around and saw that Jimmy Dodd and Gerald Whitmire were no longer with us. Jimmy and Janice Hettinger had also left our clan. During the year Eddy and Milly Frost joined our group. As school opened our junior year we missed Eddy and Milly Frost. We were very glad to greet a new member, Sharon Lacy. During this year the highlights were our presentation of the play "Don't Take My Penny" and the Junior-Senior Prom, "Paradise Island." Many humorous incidents occurred on these occasions that we shall long remember. Many of us were glad to see school open our senior year knowing this was the last lap of our journey through high school. We were sorry to see that Dorothy Dagenhart, Helen Goodwin, Kathy Lacy, Sharon Lacy and Alvin Pulis were not with us. We were glad, however, to welcome Ronnie Foster to our class. This brought our total to thirty-four would-be graduates. There were many unforgettable events in our senior year. The play, "I'm a Family Crisis," the prom and the senior trip to Lake Taneycomo will never be forgotten by the class. Compiled by Judy Mattocks and Joh Miller |
