A cat with a hat in the flat

Until a few years ago Channel 11 observed a fine Christmas tradition broadcasting a burning Yule log. Tragically, the tradition came to an end and New Yorkers were for some years deprived of this cheery image on a Christmas morn'.

Christmas 2001 and the people celebrated as the log again burned proudly, with carols and festive tunes playing in the background, from 8am to 10am on Christmas Day. The presents travelled from Scotland and were much appreciated.
