| Steve was an NFL player at the time. But that's not what made him famous. His claim to fame was the fact that every time he spun, he would shout "I want Big Bucks and no whamiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeees" He would hold "whammies" out for 5-10 seconds. It seemed when he didn't hold it out, he Whammied. A very funny player. |

| Troy didn't really have anything interesting happen to him. Troy happened to the buzzer! During Round 1, he broke the buzzer off the podium, causing a choppy edit and a complete redesign of the buzzer. Peter remarked in Round 2 "Don't break anything!" Guess the buzzer had taken too much of a beating... |

| I've actually seen this guy for myself! This guy, in round 2 on his first show, kept shouting ";Come on, $80000!" as if there was a special square that allowed him to win everything,. And when he won, he jumped up and celebrated. You could tell he came to play. |

| I've saved her for last because she holds a very unusual place in PYL history. She was the only champion NOT TO SHOW UP!!! Peter said "I guess she got lost on her African Safari" I guess she won on the last taping of one Saturday, and was late for the next, so when she did return, there were two champions. The Whammies at this point were pretty steamed, as they clobbered her quickly in Round 2. And it ended up that the challenger won. Two champs down! |
