It's a Girl!

Introducing:

Ella Caitlyn Morgen

Catherine's water broke at 1:00 Sunday afternoon, and we labored at home until almost 6:00 pm.  At that point, the contractions were regular and we called Dr. Wolanski again; he told us to meet him at his office around 6:30 and said we were probably still a little early in the process.  We met him then and he examined Catherine and asked her, "How far along do you think you are?"  She guessed 4 centimeters, hoping not to be disappointed, but he said she was fully dilated and would be having the baby soon.  We walked across the street to the hospital, arriving on the ward at 7:00 pm.  At 7:15, after a little pushing, Ella came into the world, absolutely beautiful.  She was relatively clean with no molding of her head.
