Scouting and Venturing
Stamford 4th Group
In my youth, I was a member of the Saint Joseph's Institution's [SJI] scount group, also known as the Pelandok Scounts. This group still exists today in the relocated SJI at Malcolm Rd. This page is mostly about the group when it was called Stamford 04, the days before it was changed to Tanglin something.
How it all started for me
For those interested, that is Tan Guan Heng on the right when he was 11 back in 1981.
These are my best buddies till this day. The reason for the short hair cut or lack of style is due the Singapore Armed Forces which discourages unique hair styles.
